Frequency Characteristics of Sloshing Resonance in a Three-Dimensional Shallow-Water Rectangular Tank

چکیده
The frequency characteristics of free surface elevation time histories shallow-water sloshing in a three-dimensional rectangular tank is presented. numerical model for motion uses an accurate velocity potential Boussinesq-type equation. A particular solution adopted to express the external excitations and linear damping term introduced replace friction effect produced by walls. excitation amplitude forced movement tiny, while varies around first resonance frequency. results show that wave energy under concentrated integer multiple frequencies, sum difference frequencies.
